The allergens of every dish, clear to every guest
EU Regulation 1169/2011 requires you to inform guests about 14 allergens. With Menuchic, you declare them for each dish, and the dish page flags the ingredients concerned. Guests filter the menu by their allergies and see at once what they can order.
Allergens & diets, in practice
Declared once, shown everywhere
A dish’s allergens are shown the same way on the online menu, the QR menu and the kiosk.
Filter instead of asking
The guest ticks “gluten-free” or “no tree nuts”: compatible dishes move to the top, the others are flagged in their language.
Diets and nutrition
Vegetarian, vegan, halal, pork-free, plus nutritional values and Nutri-Score.
Set up in 4 steps

Your questions
Which 14 allergens must be declared?
Gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, tree nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphites, lupin and molluscs (Annex II of EU Regulation 1169/2011).
What does the free Starter plan include?
Allergens and diets displayed dish by dish. The allergy filter for your guests is included from Pro.
Who is responsible for allergen information?
The restaurant remains responsible for what it declares. Menuchic displays the information entered the same way everywhere, in the guest’s language.
Can I say an allergen can be left out?
Yes. For each dish, you state whether it contains the allergen, whether it can be served without it on request, or whether the guest should ask the staff.
Can a guest report an allergy from their table?
Yes, with table ordering: the guest sends an “allergy” request to the floor team, who must confirm it.
